Does wallpaper hold up well in bathrooms?
Many people assume that wallpaper doesn’t fare well in bathrooms due to the moisture. We’ve remodelled and decorated hundreds of bathrooms where this has NOT been the case.
Our experience has shown that if the paper is well hung by a professional (or someone who really knows what they are doing), and that walls are properly prepared and appropriate glues are used, well, the results are beautiful and long-lasting. We often advise our clients to use a professional paper hanger rather than someone who is another type of trade by day and occasionally papers walls. Each paper has its own personality when full of glue and the experienced paper hanger knows how to handle it. Our paper hanger has hung everything from vinyls to grasscloths to linen fabric papers. He has done it all.
